Thank you for your interest in supporting the goals and ideals of Industrial Age
Governance
.  The evidence is overwhelming . . .   Five decades into the Information
Age, governing bodies still manage mission critical information not too differently than
decades ago.  And the result . . .  millions of Americans suffer needlessly.  But it doesn't
have to be that way - your generous support
will make a difference !
In the 21st Century, more so than ever before, leaders at all levels must possess a
commanding knowledge of basic technical skills to build and supervise integrated
Systems of Governance.  The great potential of computer and communication
technologies is already known, but their practical role in facilitating fundamental
improvements within governments and public institutions is poorly understood.

Even more limited is our awareness of powerful contemporary process theory and
information management principles.  For starters, leaders must develop a functional
literacy sufficient to integrate those principles into governing organizations using
digital technologies, thus enabling a clear vision of how governments and
institutions can be dynamically altered in the foreseeable future. And they must
learn how and when to acquire public and private information, store it, make it
accessible, restrict access to it, conduct studies about it, analyze it, publish it, and
educate themselves about it.

The greatest challenge we face: the motivation to pursue these goals.  Widespread
upgrade of technical skills in the short term is an obvious priority, critical to
reshaping attitudes and teaching new concepts.

Non-Profit Organization  Promoting new systems of governance throughout
government agencies and public institutions requires a D.C. based organization
structured to deliver educational programs to leaders in Washington and around
the country.  High priority target groups include: federal and state elected
officials, staffers, agency bureaucrats,
regulators, as well as educators,
administrators, and students in related fields of government, political science,
public policy, media, journalism, and law.  A wide variety of channels are
essential to reach American leaders: conferences in key cities, leadership
training programs, online forums, new textbook and lecture materials for college
classes, media ad campaigns.
